I have spent countless hours looking at dozens (out of the thousands) of books to manage my contracting business more effectively.  People pouring their “30 years of experience in the industry” into a 300 page book.  I don’t have time to read 300 pages!  And even if I did, I need to translate the useful stuff into something I can use every day.  The same holds true for the software that’s out there.  You need to be some kind of a computer wiz to use it and spend hours converting your paper system to their software system.
